Oktoberfest has returned to the Hofbrauhaus Las Vegas just east of the Strip, through Nov.1.

There are daily food specials, stein-holding contests and games. The Biermeister Band will perform from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Sundays to Thursdays and 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays.

The beer hall, marking its 21st year, will have a variety of stars and celebrities tapping kegs on Friday and Saturday nights. Those hoisting beers can look for longtime Vegas headliner Terry Fator on Sept. 19, "American Idol" Season 3 finalist Jasmine Trias on Sept. 20, the ladies of "Fantasy" on Sept. 26, Chippendales  on Sept. 27, mixed martial arts legend Randy Couture on Oct. 17 and "Pawn Stars" host Rick Harrison on Oct. 24.

Oktoberfestbier is a 6.3% ABV lager imported from Germany. The Las Vegas location pours more than 22,500 liters a month during the festival.

Reservations are encouraged. The VIP Experience Package includes premium seating in the main hall with table options for eight to 10 guests or individual tickets, with the purchase price applied to guests' food and drinks.
