Wayne Newton, who is known far and wide as "Mr. Las Vegas," is returning to the Strip next month.
"Wayne: Up Close and Personal," will be staged in the Wayne Newton Theater in Bugsy's Cabaret at the Flamingo Las Vegas, where the entertainer first became a headliner more than half a century ago.
Tickets, starting at $79 (plus tax and fees), are available through Ticketmaster. Shows begin at 7:30 p.m. on Jan. 24, 26, 29 and 31.
Tickets for performances through June are on now sale. A limited number of meet-and-greets per show are available to add on to each ticket purchase.
Newton will perform "Danke Schoen" and other songs from his 165 albums. He will share career highlights through film clips and anecdotes and will conduct a question-and-answer session with the audience.
During his storied career, Newton has performed for an estimated 40 million people in more than 25,000 shows in Las Vegas alone. Newton, 79, who says he can't read a single note of music, nevertheless can perform on 13 different instruments. His big-screen appearances include the hit movies "Vegas Vacation" and "License to Kill."
He last took the stage at Cleopatra's Barge in Caesars Palace prior to the pandemic.
