AmaWaterways officially welcomed the 23rd ship in its fleet
with the christening of the AmaMora during festivities Friday in Lahnstein,
Germany.
Godmother Libbie Rice, president of Ensemble Travel Group,
named the ship with the traditional breaking of a champagne bottle across its hull.
The AmaMora, which sails the Rhine, is the third new ship
launched this year by AmaWaterways.
Last week, travel television host Samantha Brown christened
the company's new mega ship, the AmaMagna, which sails the Danube. And earlier
this year, the AmaDouro started sailing in Portugal.
"This has truly been a record-breaking year for us, and
we are very proud to welcome AmaMora to our wonderful fleet of ships that are
built to meet the needs of today's travelers who crave a luxurious and
personalized vacation experience," said AmaWaterways co-founder Rudi
Schreiner.
