AmaWaterways has launched its 19th river cruise ship, the
158-passenger AmaKristina.
Named after AmaWaterways' co-owner and executive vice
president Kristin Karst, the AmaKristina set sail on its inaugural voyage this
week and joins the fleet as the company celebrates its 15th anniversary.
The ship is on its way from Amsterdam to Basel. The
christening ceremony will take place on May 10 in Lahnstein, Germany. Karst is
the vessel's godmother.

The AmaKristina's twin-balcony staterooms have a French balcony adjacent to a step-out balcony.
The AmaKristina will sail Rhine River itineraries between
Amsterdam and Basel in 2017.
The AmaKristina is the sister ship to the AmaViola and
AmaStella, and like those vessels it features connecting cabins and triple
occupancy staterooms that are tailored multi-generational families and groups,
two growing markets in river cruising.
There are three dining venues onboard, including the Chef's
Table restaurant, which hosts an intimate multi-course tasting menu with
regional wine pairings, offered at no additional charge. There is also a
sundeck with a running track; a heated pool with underwater bar stools; a
fitness center; and a hair salon and spa.

AmaWaterways incorporated a warm and vibrant color palette in the lounge.
The AmaKristina has twin-balcony staterooms on the top two
decks that feature a French balcony adjacent to a step-out one.
