American Cruise Lines released its full line-up of domestic cruises for the upcoming holiday season, offering itineraries along its most popular river and coastal destinations in the United States.
Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's cruises are available along the lower Mississippi River, the great rivers of Florida and the Southeast Coast to Florida.
American also is offering a Colonial Christmas Cruise - an 11-day sailing over both Christmas and New Year's that does a roundtrip American Revolution itinerary from Baltimore in Chesapeake Bay. Ideal for history buffs, the cruise includes a rare stop inside Washington, D.C. on the Capital's southwest waterfront.
American said will honor the spirit of the season by continuing "Give-Back" program that donate a portion of each holiday ticket sold to The Connecticut Food Bank. To date, donations from the program have resulted in more 100,000 meals provided for families in need, the company said.
