Crystal River Cruises on Friday revealed the design plans for its four new luxury river yachts, which will launch in spring and summer of next year.

The four yachts — Crystal Ravel, Crystal Bach, Crystal Debussy and Crystal Mahler — will have a similar design approach to the Crystal Mozart, the company’s first river cruise vessel, a complete rebuild that is launching on July 13.

The Bistro will be a more casual restaurant.

There will be some differences due to size, however, as the Crystal Mozart is one of the largest river cruise ships in Europe, accommodating 158 passengers, and the newbuilds will carry approximately half that number.

The Crystal Mahler and Crystal Bach will sail on the Rhine, Main and Danube rivers — and will be deemed Rhine class vessels — and will be built at 443 feet in length with 53 suites for 106 guests.

The Crystal Debussy and Crystal Ravel will sail on France’s Seine River, as well as the Garonne, Dordogne and Gironde rivers in the Bordeaux region — and will be deemed Paris class vessels — at a length of 361 feet and guest capacity of 78 guests in 39 suites.

The largest suite, the Crystal Suite, on all four river yachts will be 759 square feet. There will be no suites below the waterline on the lower deck, where many river cruise lines place their lower-priced cabins that only have porthole windows and no balconies. All suites will have king-size beds that face toward balconies with panoramic windows, walk-in closets, wall-mounted flat-screen HDTVs, and Nespresso machines. There will be butler service for all guests.

The Bach and the Mahler will have a partial indoor/outdoor pool.

The public areas will include several dining venues — the elegant Waterside Restaurant, the more casual Bistro café and the Vintage Room. There will also be a Cove Bar and Palm Court, a bar and lounge area. Crystal will offer true open-seating dining, allowing guests to dine where and when they want, a departure from the river cruising standard of set meal times.

There will be a full-service spa and separate fitness center onboard, the latter equipped with cardio equipment as well as free weights. Both the spa and gym will have dedicated professionals to work with passengers. There will also be a small indoor/outdoor pool at the aft of the Crystal Bach and Crystal Mahler.

The intimate Vintage Room will serve winemaker's dinners.
