Emerald Cruises is adding Christmas cruise departures in 2023.
The line has added a departure on Dec. 16 of its eight-day Christmas Markets on the Rhine cruise between Basel and Amsterdam. The cruise visits Cologne and Koblenz, Germany; Strasbourg, France; and Amsterdam.
Also, Emerald will sail one additional Christmas Markets on the Danube cruise on Nov. 24. The ship will visit Vienna; Budapest; Bratislava, Slovakia; and Regensburg, Germany.
Emerald is adding two Douro River cruises in Portugal, as well. The eight-day Secrets of the Douro cruise will depart on Nov. 18 and Nov. 25.
Guests aboard the Emerald Radiance can visit an 18th century vineyard estate in Quinta de Todo, take a canoeing excursion in Regua and do guided tours in Salamanca.
