Le Boat expands fleet of self-drive yachts

Le Boat is growing its fleet of high-end, self-drive boats in Europe with three new models debuting in 2017.

After the 36-foot, four-passenger Horizon sold out for 2016, Le Boat is adding a trio of yachts in the Horizon line, all designed and built for the company by Delphia Yachts.

The Horizon 2-S will be the same size as the original, but will sleep five guests and will be available on the canals of France, Holland, Italy and Ireland. The Horizon 3 will accommodate seven passengers in three cabins and will ply the waters of France, Germany and Ireland. The Horizon 4 will sleep nine in four cabins and will sail in Holland, France, Germany and the U.K. All Horizon boats have a kitchen and sundeck with shade.

Le Boat’s fleet of canal-cruising yachts are all private rentals that require no boating experience or license. Rental includes a full onboard orientation to help guests chart their journey, prepare to go through locks and find moorings along the route.

Bookings for the vessels for 2017 will open September 1, 2016. Le Boat pays travel agent commissions.
