Pandaw is offering travelers the chance to book a cabin with a deposit of $100.
The company, which operates in India and Southeast Asia, said the offer is good for any reservation made by Pandaw Members Club participants through Aug. 1.
Come Aug. 1, travelers can either post the full deposit or walk away, forfeiting the $100, the company said.
Although the company said it has cut some sailings because of the Covid-19 travel shutdown, it is still going ahead with "the majority of its river expeditions this year."
"We have cut some less popular dates and merged certain departures where we have two vessels on the same routing, but we will be very much up and running," the company said in an email promoting the $100 deposit policy. "Amazingly, bookings are still coming in, which shows that there are lots of optimists out there."
