The Scenic Group said Friday that is was temporarily
suspending all European river cruise
operations through the end of April due to the Covid-19 outbreak.
The company said it was also cancelling the rest of is
Southeast Asia river cruise season, which generally ends in mid-May.
Scenic operates Scenic Luxury Cruises & Tours, Emerald
Cruises and the Evergreen Cruises & Tours brands.
Guests whose cruises are affected will be offered a full refund
or a future credit valued at 125% of their original booking price. The credit
will be good for 24 months.
Scenic said it would honor travel advisor commissions for
canceled cruises that had been paid in full and for the full amount of future
travel credits.
