Viking provides more tools in portal for travel advisors

Viking said its has updated its travel advisor portal, enhancing marketing capabilities and the overall booking experience. 

The following are improvements Viking has made:

• The ability to search multiple cruise types with filters to find itineraries by city, port, month or date range

• The ability to search for voyages by offer code

• A new booking dashboard enabling advisors to sort bookings by upcoming payment deadline

• The ability to search for a booking by guest name and filter by booking status

• The addition of an interactive room selection for all stateroom categories

• The ability to add air to an online booking earlier in the booking process, avoiding a call to Viking's air desk  

• The ability to send a quote to clients in PDF form.

Viking says the upgrades are part of the company's ongoing commitment to supporting travel advisors and their clients.

In a statement, Viking CEO Torstein Hagen said, "For 27 years, curious travelers have explored the world in comfort with Viking, and one of the reasons we have enjoyed success is because of our relationships with travel advisors."
