American Airlines has suspended its two Hong Kong routes due to demand depression caused by the coronavirus outbreak in mainland China.

The carrier’s flights to Hong Kong from Dallas/Fort Worth and Los Angeles are suspended through Feb. 20.

“We will continue to monitor the situation closely and make any updates as needed,” the carrier said.

Hong Kong reported its first coronavirus death on Tuesday.

American previously suspended all flying to mainland China through March 27.
