WASHINGTON -- The Airlines Reporting Corp. said Miami-based APA
International Air will become a member carrier, enabling travel
agents to use it as the ticketing carrier on ARC stock beginning
Aug. 10.
APA plans to launch scheduled passenger service from Miami to
the Dominican Republic on Aug. 6, initially accepting only cash
payment, ARC said. The carrier (codes 7P and 917) is automatically
appointing all ARC agencies unless it notifies a specific firm to
