Allegiant Air will begin flying to Orlando International Airport next May, operating service to Asheville, N.C.; Allentown, Pa.; and Knoxville, Tenn.

Orlando will be the first new airport the discount carrier has added since March 2022. The routes will augment robust Allegiant service out of Orlando Sanford, 33 miles to the north. Allegiant is the dominant carrier at Sanford.

Allegiant will fly Orlando-Asheville three times weekly beginning May 3, with the frequency increasing to four times per week in June.

The carrier will fly Orlando-Allentown twice weekly beginning May 16. Orlando-Knoxville service will also be twice weekly, beginning May 17.

Allegiant flies an all-Airbus narrowbody fleet of A319 and A320s.
