Cathay Pacific Airways will add Newark as a U.S. gateway on March 1, operating a daily flight to Hong Kong on Boeing 777-300ER aircraft.

The airline will continue to fly four times per day between Hong Kong and New York’s Kennedy Airport.

United Airlines also flies nonstop between Newark and Hong Kong.

Newark will become Cathay Pacific's seventh gateway in North America. The airline currently serves Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, Toronto and Vancouver.
