Delta has expanded its pre-select meal program to first-class passengers on domestic mainline flights and select flights between the U.S. and Canada, the Caribbean and Latin America.

The airline has been gradually expanding the program over the past year. Until now, the service had been available only on routes where the airline flies a jet with a Delta One cabin.

Customers confirmed in a first-class cabin receive an email from Delta three days prior to their flight asking them to pick their first meal choice. All that's needed to participate is a valid email address listed in the customer's SkyMiles account or in their passenger record.

The service is not offered to first-class passengers on Delta Connection flights.
