Edelweiss to fly Zurich-Seattle route

Swiss carrier Edelweiss will fly to Seattle next summer. 

The leisure-focused airline, which is part of Lufthansa Group, will fly twice weekly between Zurich and the Emerald City beginning June 2, 2025. Edelweiss will operate the service with Airbus A340-300 aircraft, offering 27 business seats, 76 enhanced economy seats with extra legroom and recline, and 211 standard economy seats. 

Edelweiss will be the lone carrier flying between Zurich and Seattle. The airline’s existing U.S. destinations are Denver, Las Vegas and Tampa.
