South American discount carrier JetSmart is now selling tickets via Amadeus. The move marks JetSmart's inaugural GDS integration for U.S. travel agencies.

The Chile-based budget carrier, which is owned by Indigo Partners (also the majority owner of Frontier Airlines), flies more than 80 domestic and international routes in Chile, Argentina, Peru, Colombia, Brazil, Uruguay, Paraguay and Ecuador.

American Airlines is a minority owner of JetSmart and has a codeshare and loyalty program partnership with the airline.
