Frontier Airlines no longer will offer free TV for its elite Ascent and Summit frequent flyers, effective Aug. 1.
The charge for DirecTV service is $3.99 for flights of two hours or less, $5.99 for flights between two and three-and-a-half hours, and $7.99 for longer flights.
Ascent-level flyers will receive a free drink while Summit flyers will get a complimentary snack.
