Discount transatlantic airline Norse Atlantic will introduce service between Los Angeles and Athens in June.

The flight will operate four times per week utilizing Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft equipped with premium economy and economy cabins.

Athens will join Rome and Paris as Norse Atlantic destinations from LAX. The airline previously flew to Oslo from Los Angeles, but it discontinued that route in early September.

Norse Atlantic is slated to offer 8.7% fewer U.S. seats during the June-August summer season this year than it did last year, Cirium flight schedule data shows. Norse plans to fly 11 U.S. routes this summer compared to 12 last summer.
