Budget airline Norwegian Air Shuttle will establish U.S. gateways in Los Angeles, Orlando and Oakland, Calif., next spring.
Norwegian will fly twice per week between Los Angeles and Stockholm (starting March 2), Oakland and Stockholm (May 3), and Los Angeles and Copenhagen (March 1). The airline will increase to three flights per week for Los Angeles-Stockholm on May 3 and for Los Angeles-Copenhagen on May 1.
A weekly Oslo-Los Angeles flight begins June 1. Norwegian will fly three times per week between Oslo and Oakland starting May 28, and twice per week between Oslo and Orlando starting May 29.
Also, Norwegian will begin New York-Copenhagen service on Feb. 28, flying twice per week. The airline will increase frequency to four times per week on April 30.
It will begin flights from Oslo, Stockholm and Copenhagen to Fort Lauderdale in November.
Norwegian launched long-haul service this past May, and currently serves New York from Oslo and Stockholm.
