Saudi Arabia's state-owned Saudia Group has ordered 105 Airbus narrowbodies.

The order comprises 12 A320neo and 93 A321neo aircraft, increasing Saudia Group's order backlog to 144 aircraft in the A320neo family.

Saudia said its fleet growth is intended to support Saudi Arabia's ambitious tourism plans. The kingdom is targeting 150 million annual domestic and international tourists by 2030, up from 106.2 million last year. The country reported 27.4 million international visitors in 2023.

Saudia currently has a fleet of 163 aircraft, according to Planespotters.net, while Flyadeal has 35 planes.
