MIAMI -- A new airline backed by a group of Honduran businessmen
said it is starting daily flights July 12 between Miami and Central
America, adding it will rely on agents to help it sell seats.
Operating as Sol Air but owned by Aero Honduras, the airline
said it is trying to earn that agent support by paying 10%
commission with no caps.
It is flying 737 and 727 aircraft from Miami to Tegucigalpa and
San Pedro Sula, Honduras; Managua, Nicaragua; and San Salvador, El
Salvador.
