Turkish Airlines will start flying to Denver

Turkish Airlines will begin flights between Istanbul and Denver on June 11. The service will initially operate three times per week and will increase to four times per week on July 9.

Turkish will operate the flight with a two-cabin Airbus A350-900 aircraft.

Denver will be the 14th U.S. destination for the Star Alliance member, which offers connections to more countries than any other airline. 

The approximately 12-hour flight will the longest from Denver, surpassing United's nonstop service to Tokyo Narita Airport.
