Calgary-based WestJet launched seasonal service this month from Edmonton to Maui and Calgary to Honolulu and Maui.

"Following a very successful launch of these routes last winter, we have made more seats available this year through the lease of a larger aircraft," Hugh Dunleavy, WestJet’s executive vice president of strategy and planning, said in a statement.

WestJet’s service between Edmonton and Maui will be offered twice weekly, while the airline will fly between Honolulu and Calgary on Fridays and Calgary and Maui three times a week. All three flights will run through April 30.
