American Express Global Business Travel (GBT) has completed its acquisition of KDS.

Amex said no changes in KDS’s management team or current offices are expected as a result of the acquisition, and all of its employees will join Amex's team.

Neo, a corporate online booking tool, is KDS’s main product.

Amex said that the acquisition “is part of GBT’s broader investment strategy to develop a suite of integrated digital services for business travelers.”

CEO Doug Anderson called the acquisition “pivotal” for his company.

“We are focused on providing solutions that optimize the traveler experience within the managed travel environment,” he said. “Our strategy is to develop and acquire the tools to deliver on that objective. KDS allows us to offer the first seamless end-to-end shopping and booking experience centered on today’s business traveler.”
