After American Express Global Business Travel (GBT) completes its acquisition of Hogg Robinson Group, HRG CEO David Radcliffe will join the GBT Board.

The $576 million acquisition was announced in February and is subject to regulatory approvals.

"I will be delighted to welcome David to the GBT Board following the completion of GBT's acquisition of HRG," board chairman Greg O'Hara said in a statement. "He brings a wealth of industry experience and expertise and will play an important role as we integrate HRG, delivering continuity and helping to provide value for all stakeholders and shareholders."

Radcliffe joined HRG in 1978. In 1989, he was appointed to HRG's board, and was named CEO in 1997.
