ST. LOUIS -- Maritz Travel Co. said it was awarded $35 million in
new corporate travel accounts by four California-based companies.
Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory in Livermore and Lawrence
Berkeley National Laboratory in Berkeley awarded Maritz their
combined $17 million account.
The account previously was handled by SatoTravel, based in
Arlington, Va.
Tenet Healthcare Corp., based in Santa Clara, awarded Maritz its
$11 million account.
Toshiba America Information Systems Inc., of Irvine, awarded
Maritz its $7 million travel business.
Navigant International unit Associated Travel, based in Santa
Ana, Calif., previously handled the Toshiba and Tenet Healthcare
accounts.
Maritz Travel, based here, is a $1.8 billion agency.
