A new agreement with Southwest Airlines enables Egencia, Expedia's corporate travel agency, to give clients access to the carrier's content if they have corporate agreements with Southwest.

Southwest fares and schedules will be available via Egencia's self-booking technology as well as through Egencia customer-service agents.

The agreement gives Egencia clients access to Southwest's last-seat inventory; booking and ticketing that supports the Rapid Rewards member number; and the ability to make cancellations and exchanges.

Clients will be able to fully integrate Southwest bookings into their Egencia reporting, Egencia said.

"This agreement with Southwest will allow us to better deliver increased convenience, selection and control to our customers," Chris Vukelich, Egencia's vice president of supplier relations, said in a statement.
