Saranac in Saranac Lake, N.Y., will join Hilton Worldwide’s Curio collection next year, after the 89-year-old
property completes a remodeling.
The 80-room property will add 20
rooms and reopen with the Ampersand luxury spa and the Campfire Adirondack Grill & Bar. The property’s Florentine-style Grand Hall, designed in
the style of an Italian castle, will be restored for events and
meetings.
Saranac Lake is about 300 miles
north of New York City and about 120 miles south of Montreal. The village hosts a
10-day winter carnival every year.
