Almond Resorts sets March opening for third Barbados property

Almond Resorts will open its 300-room Almond Casuarina Beach Resort on March 15. The former Casuarina Beach Resort, acquired by Almond in June 2005, has been closed since its acquisition.

The all-inclusive resort on Barbados' south coast is undergoing a $30 million expansion and renovation project that includes a 100-room addition that will open in early summer.

Facilities features three pools, a fitness center, tennis courts, access to golf, a Kids Club (available to newborns up to 16 years old), six room categories, three restaurants and four bars.

Almond currently operates two properties on the West Coast of Barbados, the 395-room Almond Beach Village and the 161-room Almond Beach Club & Spa, as well as the 238-room Almond Morgan Bay Beach Resort on St. Lucia's western shores and the 360-room Almond Smugglers Cove, set to open in February, on St. Lucia's northwest coast.
