The Amanvari ("peace water," in Sanskrit) will open at the Costa Palmas "resort community" on the Eastern Cape of Mexico's Baja Peninsula in 2020.

Costa Palmas has two miles of beachfront along the Sea of Cortes. The hotel will offer 20 bilevel "pavilions" on stilts, and each level will include floor-to-ceiling windows and a terrace/sundeck. Some will feature cantilevered pools.

The main pavilion will have an open-air atrium on the beach and comprise three restaurants, a library and lounge and a 100-foot infinity pool incorporating four hot tubs. A spa pavilion will be nearby, along a wooded pathway.

Additionally, 24 Aman residences will be offered for sale.

The Amanvari will be on the westernmost edge of Costa Palmas, which includes the Four Seasons Resort Los Cabos at Costa Palmas, a Robert Trent Jones II golf course and a beach and yacht club.

Correction: This article has been updated with the correct spelling of the resort's name.
