Aman has planted its flag in Bangkok with the opening of the Aman Nai Lert Bangkok.
The opening is a Thailand homecoming of sorts for Aman, which opened its first resort, the Amanpuri in Phuket, nearly four decades ago.
The 36-story property sits within central Bangkok's Nai Lert Park, housing 52 hotel rooms and 34 branded residences. According to Aman, the guest accommodations are among the city's largest, with suites starting at 1,012 square feet. The property's most spacious offering is its 7,675-square-foot Aman Suite, which spans an entire floor and comprises three bedrooms, an entertainment room and a private spa.
The Aman Nai Lert Bangkok has several food and beverage venues, including Italian concept Arva, the 1872 bar and the Pool Bar. The hotel's 19th floor -- open to Aman Club members, hotel guests and residence owners -- has two Japanese restaurants: Sesui for sushi omakase and Hiori for teppanyaki. The 19th floor also has the Aman Lounge with an outdoor terrace and the Cigar Bar.
The 16,145-square-foot Aman Spa and Wellness is a three-floor facility that houses a fitness center with studios for yoga, Pilates and personal training and a range of hydrotherapy amenities, including steam rooms, saunas and cold plunge pools.
Additionally, guests can opt for treatments such as cryotherapy and IV therapy at the center's Medical Wellness by Hertitude Clinic, or book a full-day or half-day experience at its Banya Spa House, which features a private steam room, hot tub and lounge.
The Aman Nai Lert Bangkok joins the brand's global portfolio of 35 properties. It is Aman's third "urban sanctuary," joining city hotels in Tokyo and New York.
In response to the March 28 earthquake in Myanmar, the Aman Nai Lert Bangkok has committed to donating a portion of proceeds from stays in April to charities assisting those affected by the disaster.
