Tilman Fertitta, owner of Golden Nugget Hotels, has agreed to acquire the Isle Casino Hotel in Biloxi, Miss., and will rebrand the property as the Golden Nugget Biloxi.

Golden Nugget will spend four to six months upgrading the 720-room property upon completion of the acquisition, which is subject to regulatory approval.

Fertitta also owns Landry's, a restaurant company with chains such as McCormick & Schmick’s, Morton's Steakhouse, Chart House, Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. and Claim Jumper. Fertitta will add a Chart House as well as a Morton’s Steakhouse to the Golden Nugget Biloxi.

Fertitta owns Golden Nugget hotel-casinos in Las Vegas, Atlantic City and Laughlin, Nev. His company has invested more than $300 million in upgrades to the Golden Nugget Las Vegas since acquiring the property for $140 million in 2005.
