Blue Diamond Resorts has rebranded as Royalton Hotels & Resorts, consolidating its operations under the name of its flagship Caribbean hospitality brand.

Blue Diamond operates 24 all-inclusive resorts in seven Caribbean destinations. It said the transition reflects the growing recognition of the Royalton brand.

The company's other hotel brands will also be repositioned under the Royalton umbrella, with Hideaway at Royalton becoming Royalton Hideaway and Planet Hollywood Hotels & Resorts becoming Planet Hollywood Hotels & Resorts by Royalton.

Jordi Pelfort, president of Royalton Hotels & Resorts, called the move "a strategic alignment of our brand portfolio that highlights the strength and recognition of Royalton."

The rebranding comes amid a period of expansion for the company. Earlier this year, the group unveiled its Royalton Vessence Resorts offshoot and announced plans for the Royalton Chic Jamaica Paradise Cove.

As part of a 2021 partnership between Royalton and Marriott International, 20-plus resorts are part of Marriott's Autograph Collection and Tribute Portfolio.
