The Cancun Palace has been reflagged as the Hard Rock Hotel Cancun.
Among other renovations, the hotel has made changes to the lobby and lounge to represent the Hard Rock brand.
The Cancun resort is the first of four properties to be rebranded under a deal reached last year between Palace Resorts and Hard Rock International.
In 2013, the Vallarta Palace will become the Hard Rock Puerto Vallarta, and the adjacent Aventura Cove Palace and Aventura Spa Palace will become the Hard Rock Riviera Maya.
In January, Palace launched its All-Inclusive Collection to market Hard Rock resorts in Mexico and the Dominican Republic.
