Amusement park operator Palace Entertainment is partnering
with Cartoon Network to open the first Cartoon Network Hotel in Lancaster,
Pennsylvania.
Located just outside of Palace Entertainment's Dutch
Wonderland Family Amusement Park, the hotel is expected to open by summer 2019.
According to Cartoon Network, the 165-room hotel will "immerse
guests in the animation and antics of characters" from popular television
shows like "Adventure Time," "We Bare Bears" and "The
Powerpuff Girls." Each guestroom and suite will feature interchangeable
show theming that can be customized to children's preferences.
The nine-acre property will have a resort-style pool and
water play zone, as well as an outdoor amphitheater with a movie screen and
fire pits. Inside, guests can use an indoor pool, game room, play area and
Cartoon Network store.
