Corinthia Hotels plans to open a 58-room luxury resort in Lake Como in late 2028.
The property will be located in Menaggio, adjacent to the Menaggio & Cadenabbia Golf Club, which bills itself as Italy's second-oldest golf course.
In addition to guest accommodations, the Corinthia Lake Como will feature three branded residences. Development plans also call for a beach club on Lake Como's western shore, a spa and dining venues.
Construction on the project is expected to begin following final planning approvals.
The resort will be Corinthia's second property in Italy, joining the soon-to-open Corinthia Rome.
The brand, which has 10 open hotels within its portfolio, has additional developments underway in Doha and Riyadh.
