Marriott opened its first Courtyard property in Barbados.

The 118-room hotel, located in the Garrison historic area near the capital of Bridgetown, is a five-minute walk from the beach.

The property features Courtyard’s new lobby design with free WiFi and its signature GoBoard technology, which utilizes a 57-inch LCD touch screen for guests to locate local restaurants, attractions, tourist information, weather and headlines.

Facilities include a restaurant, pool, fitness center and meeting space.

Marriott’s other Courtyard properties in the Caribbean are in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic; Port of Spain, Trinidad; and San Juan (two).
