MGM and Marriott will release details about the W Las Vegas conversion at a later date.

MGM Resorts International and Marriott International have announced plans to convert the Delano Las Vegas into the W Las Vegas by the end of 2024.

The 1,117-room hotel, which is part of the Mandalay Bay complex on the south end of the Las Vegas Strip, will remain open during the conversion process. Details about the conversion will be released at a later date.

The move builds on an existing partnership between MGM and Marriott, which launched the MGM Collection with Marriott Bonvoy platform last year. Under the partnership, 17 MGM hotels are bookable in Marriott's digital channels.

The partnership also aligns the companies' loyalty programs, granting members benefits across both networks.

Following the rebranding, the W Las Vegas will join the MGM Collection with Marriott Bonvoy, alongside other Las Vegas Strip resorts like Bellagio, a Luxury Collection Resort & Casino; Aria Resort & Casino, Autograph Collection; Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, Autograph Collection; and Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino, MGM Collection.
