Disneyland Resort president Thomas Mazloum has been named chairman of Disney Experiences, succeeding Josh D'Amaro, who will become the Walt Disney Company's CEO on March 18.

Disney Experiences includes the company's theme parks, cruise ships, hotels, Disney Vacation Club and Adventures by Disney tours.

Before becoming president of Disneyland Resort, Mazloum was president of Disney Signature Experiences, leading a number of businesses, including Disney Cruise Line, Adventures by Disney, National Geographic Expeditions and the Aulani resort in Hawaii. During his tenure in that role, he instituted a plan to double Disney Cruise Line's fleet size.

Before that, he was senior vice president of operations at the Walt Disney World Resort.

In addition to other roles with Disney, Mazloum previously served as COO of Crystal Cruises and had roles in European luxury hospitality.

D'Amaro called Mazloum "an exceptional leader with a genuine appreciation for our cast members and a proven track record of delivering growth."

Succeeding Mazloum as president of the Disneyland Resort is Jill Estorino, currently president and managing director of Disney Parks International.

Estorino has held a number of leadership positions across the company, including executive vice president of global marketing and sales for Disney parks, experiences and products.

Tasia Filippatos, president of Disney consumer products, was named president of Disney Parks International, overseeing the operations, expansion and development of Disneyland Paris, Hong Kong Disneyland, Shanghai Disneyland, Tokyo Disney Resort (in partnership with Oriental Land Co.) and the Disneyland Abu Dhabi (in partnership with Miral).

Lisa Baldzicki, senior vice president of parks product development and retail for Disney Consumer Products, was named president of Disney Consumer Products, leading the Disney's global retail division.

All new roles are effective March 18.
