The first hotel in Asia under Starwood's Element brand will open in Suzhou, China, in 2015.
The 190-room hotel will be part of an “eco-city” project in Suzhou, which is about 60 miles west of Shanghai.
Starwood introduced Element, an extended-stay brand, in 2008. There are 11 Element hotels, 10 in the U.S. and one in Canada.
