Hilton has revamped its Hilton Honors loyalty program, debuting a new top tier and launching lower qualification requirements for the Gold and Diamond tiers.
The Diamond Reserve tier is for members who complete 80 nights and achieve $18,000 in annual eligible spending.
Rolling out in January, the new tier includes "Confirmable Upgrade Rewards," a perk that allows members to secure premium room upgrades, including one-bedroom suites, at the time of booking for stays of up to seven nights.
Members will receive their first Confirmable Upgrade Reward when they achieve Diamond Reserve status and can earn a second after hitting 120 nights or 30,000 points.
Additional Diamond Reserve benefits include a guaranteed 4 p.m. late checkout on all eligible stays, 24/7 dedicated customer service, complimentary access to Premium Clubs at luxury and lifestyle properties, and a 120% points bonus.
Starting next year, Hilton Honors members will be able to reach Gold status after 25 nights, down from the current 40-night requirement, while Diamond status will require 50 nights, down from 60.
Both tiers will maintain their existing benefits, which include space-available room upgrades and food and beverage credits.
