Hyatt Hotels & Resorts Gold Passport
guests looking for a reason not to hit the snooze button now have
one: a wake-up call from supermodel Christie Brinkley.
Brinkley has
recorded two limited-edition wake-up calls for Hyatt Hotels
designed to "encourage guests with inspirational advice, while
reminding them that such incentives as breakfast -- and perhaps the
gym -- awaits them" once they shed the covers.
But aside from
Brinkley's voice, the New Hyatt Wake-Up Call service can be a
customized to allow the friends and family of guests to record
personalized wake-up call greetings for traveling loved
ones.
According to
Hyatt, the idea behind the service is help frequent business
travelers "maintain connection with others while on the road and
personalize their stay with the sound of a familiar voice in the
morning."
To access the
service, Hyatt Gold Passport members need to visit www.hyattwakeup.com or call (866) 387-1769 to schedule
a wake up call. Available exclusively to old Passport members in North America and the Caribbean, Hyatt's
Diamond and Platinum Gold Passport members will be able to register
for an annual subscription for unlimited access to schedule
personalized wake-up calls.
All wake-up calls
will be sent directly to Passport members' cell phones.
In addition, each
time a Hyatt Gold Passport member registers for Brinkley's call,
Hyatt will donate $1.00 to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, up to a
maximum of $10,000.
"Now your kids
can still wake you up too early, even when you're away! It's a fun
way to stay connected and raise money for the Make-a-Wish
Foundation, a cause that is very close to my heart," said Brinkley
in statement.
