IHG to give Crowne Plaza a design and marketing boost

|

InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) will invest $200 million in a design and marketing program for its Crowne Plaza brand in the Americas region.

IHG’s three-year program will be geared to increase business travel to Crowne Plaza, which has more than 400 properties worldwide. In addition to increasing its marketing and sales efforts, the program will be about “creating a guest experience with modern swagger, innovative technology, responsive service and flexible spaces that put the modern business traveler in control,” IHG said in a statement.

IHG will debut Crowne Plaza’s new marketing plan early next year.
