Caesars Entertainment is renaming its Harrah’s hotel-casino near San Diego as it approaches completion of an 18-month renovation.
The Harrah’s Rincon Casino & Resort will be renamed Harrah’s Resort Southern California. The property is located about 40 miles north of San Diego and 110 miles southeast of Los Angeles.
The resort, which is owned by the Rincon Band of Luiseno Indians, will complete a $160 million renovation in April.
A new 403-room tower will bring the hotel's room count to 1,065. A 53,000-square-foot events center was completed in January.
