A new resort development, Jade Sea, is planned as a sister
resort to Jade Mountain, which overlooks St. Lucia's signature twin Piton
Mountains.
Jade Sea would be separated from Jade Mountain by a ridge in
the hillside.
"While Jade Sea is a fully conceptualized project,
there is no actual timeline in place at this time to physically construct this
new resort property. We are currently looking at finance models and ownership
options for Jade Sea," said Karolin Troubetzkoy who owns both Jade
Mountain and Anse Chastanet along with her architect husband, Nick Troubetzkoy.
Much like Jade Mountain, the Jade Sea's sanctuaries would
face the peaks of the Pitons and would be fully open on the south side, allowing
for breezes and unimpeded views.
The 24 units would feature indoor and outdoor gardens,
stone-clad walls and an infinity-edge pool with a Jacuzzi spa.
Enclosed within each unit would be a glass-walled, air-conditioned,
soundproofed inner sanctum for guests to enjoy the entertainment systems
without disturbing the natural outdoor sounds on the other side of the
triple-glazed glass.
Other amenities: sundecks with built-in fireplaces, dining
and lounge areas with state-of-the-art kitchens, and more than 3,000 square
feet of indoor-outdoor living space.
