Kempinski Hotels and Leela Hotels, Palaces and Resorts will end their 25-year co-branding agreement.
The companies, which began phasing out their co-branding efforts last year, will market their properties separately, Kempinski said.
Mumbai-based Leela will consolidate its marketing efforts while Kempinski, whose only branded India hotel is Delhi’s Kempinski Ambiance Hotel, will look to expand its brand throughout the country.
Leela, which was founded in 1986, has eight properties in India, with another five under development.
Kempinski, which was founded in 1897, has 74 hotels in 31 countries.
