The 380-room Langham London, which
opened on the city’s West End in 1865, is slated to add 115 rooms, including 25 suites,
by next month.
The new rooms will offer guests
views of the BBC and All Souls Church buildings. The rooms will include artwork
from international artists while featuring butler
service.
Between the new rooms and upgrades
to existing ones, more than one-third of the hotel’s rooms will feature a more
residential feel, with some of the suites featuring kitchens with
Miele appliances.
Richmond International, which
designed the six-bedroom Sterling Suite that opened at the hotel last year as
part of its 150-year anniversary, is designing the new rooms.
