Margaritaville on June 26 will open a Texas resort near Lake
Conroe, roughly an hour’s drive north of downtown Houston.
Situated on 186 acres of waterfront property, Margaritaville
Lake Resort, Lake Conroe -- Houston will comprise 303 all-suite guestrooms and
32 cottages.
Suites will offer over 600 square feet of space, separate
bedroom and living room areas and a private balcony or patio. The cottages will
include a bedroom with king-sized bed and a living area with a full pull-out
sofa bed. Some cottages will offer loft space with two additional full-size
beds.
The property will feature five food-and-beverage establishments,
including the LandShark Bar & Grill (featuring outdoor lakeside seating and
50 boat slips) and the License to Chill Cafe and Bar (offering both indoor and
outdoor terrace dining areas).
Additional amenities: 72,000 square feet of conference
space, a spa, an 18-hole golf course, five pools and a 3-acre waterpark.
